Cancel Interim Order Structure for Capability Check

Explanation

Use this activity to cancel the interim order structure created as a result of a capability check. This deletes the interim header, interim orders, capability check result, material allocations, material reservations and interim order operation load. The Planned Delivery Date/Time, Planned Ship Date/Time and Planned Due Date on the customer order or sales quotation line are recalculated from the Wanted Delivery Date/Time.

Note that an interim order structure is only saved when the capability check was run with Reservation and Allocation Option set to either Reserve and Allocate or Allocate only.

To cancel an interim order structure for a capability check, select the relevant line on Customer Order/Lines or Sales Quotation/Lines tab, click Capability Check and then Cancel Interim Order Header.

Prerequisites

• The customer order must be in status Planned.
• The sales quotation must be in status Planned, Released or Revised.
• A capability check must have been performed for the customer order or sales quotation line with Reservation and Allocation Option set to either Reserve and Allocate or Allocate only.

System Effects

• The interim order header and all related interim orders are deleted.
• Interim order material allocations and material reservations are deleted.
• The capability check result record is deleted.
• Interim order operation load is deleted.
• The Planned Delivery Date/Time, Planned Ship Date/Time and Planned Due Date on the customer order or sales quotation line are recalculated from the Wanted Delivery Date/Time.
