Enter Single Occurrence Address per Sales Quotation

Explanation

This function is used for defining a temporary delivery address for a particular sales quotation.

Notes:

When changing to a single-occurrence address you might need to review the delivery information and manually define an external transport lead time on the Quotation Details tab of the Sales Quotation page. Parts of the sales quotation may be delivered to another address if any of the sales quotation lines have quotation line specific delivery addresses. As default, all new sales quotation lines have the same delivery address as the sales quotation header. Existing sales quotation lines will only get the same delivery address as the sales quotation header if the Default Info option is selected.
In revision, when you update the header’s delivery address from one single occurrence to another single occurrence, if this action does not cause any update on other fields in the quotation line with selected Default Info, the line’s status remains Released, even though the header’s status is Revised.

The sales quotation header must have been entered and saved.
The country code and its address format must have been defined, or any one of the existing country codes must be defined as the default country. This is done in IFS/Enterprise, Address Presentation.
If you are using Vertex software to automatically calculate taxes on sales quotations, customer orders, customer order invoices and return material authorizations the City, County, State and Zip Code fields must be correctly filled in to retrieve the appropriate jurisdiction code and accurately calculate taxes. If you change any of these fields, the jurisdiction code will be changed based on the new values when the record is saved.

A single-occurrence delivery address is defined for the sales quotation. The ordered parts will be delivered to this address. This is a temporary address, i.e., it will be used only for this specific sales quotation.
New sales quotation lines will get this delivery address.
Existing sales quotation lines will get this delivery address only if the Default Info option is selected.
