This activity is used to generate and download a CSV file containing information about a serial structure (asset). Maintenance planners and other users responsible for maintenance or shop visit closure, can use this functionality to export information on a reassembled asset after maintenance is completed.
On the Export Asset page, search for the serial structure you want to export and click the Generate Export File command. This creates a background job, which generates the CSV file with information on the serial structure at the time of generation. You can view the most recent job by clicking the Background Job command.
When the background job is executed, the Last Generated Date and Generated By fields on the Export Asset page are updated with the time the file was generated and the ID of the person who initiated the export. You can then download the file locally using the Download Export File command.
The file contains the following information about the serial structure:

Template Part revision | The template part revision of the asset being exported. |
Structure Position | The structure position associated with the structure entry. |
Parent Part Number | The parent part number of the given structure entry. |
Parent Serial Number | The parent serial number of the given structure entry. |
Part Number | The part number of the part being exported. |
Serial Number | For serialized parts, this is the serial number of the serial being exported. |
Part Revision​ | The revision of the part being exported. |
Vehicle ID​ | If the part is a vehicle part, this is the ID of the vehicle. |
Part Ownership | The ownership type of the serial. |
Owner | The owner of the serial. |
Manufacturer | The manufacturer of the serial. |
Manufacturer’s Part Number | The manufacturer’s part number of the serial. |
Manufactured Date | The manufactured date of the serial. |
Structure Change Date | The date the serial was last installed into the parent. |
Stress Rating Template Part Number | The current stress rating template part number for the life limited serial. |
Stress Rating Template Part Revision | The current stress rating template part revision for the life limited serial. |
Stress Rating ID | The current stress rating ID for the life limited serial. |
Operational Parameter 1 | The operational parameter that is either a Time Parameter or Primary Operational Parameter for the serial part. If no time parameter is defined, the primary operational parameter is used. |
Value after Overhaul 1 | The Value after Overhaul of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 1. |
Value after Repair 1 | The Value after Repair of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 1. |
Value Total 1 | The Value Total of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 1. |
Operational Parameter 2 | The operational parameter that is a Cycle Parameter for the serial part. If no cycle parameter is defined, this attribute and the corresponding usage attributes will remain empty. |
Value after Overhaul 2 | The Value after Overhaul of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 2. |
Value after Repair 2 | The Value after Repair of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 2. |
Value Total 2 | The Value Total of the latest operational logging for the serial, corresponding to Operational Parameter 2. |
Maintenance Program ID | The ID of the maintenance program associated with the serial. |
Maintenance Program Revision | The revision of the maintenance program associated with the serial. |
Workshop Code | The workshop code for the serial. |
