Remove Asset Data

Explanation

This activity is used to remove loaded asset data from the Import Asset page. It is useful if an asset was loaded incorrectly or if the asset induction is no longer needed, and the data does not need to be retained in the page.

Note: Removing an asset from the Import Asset page does not delete serial structures from the system. If the serial structure already exists in Fleet & Asset Management (FAM), use the dedicated Remove Serial functionality to remove it from FAM or the system.

Prerequisites

• The asset data must be loaded into the Import Asset page using the correct CSV format.
• The overall import status must not have reached Imported.

System Effects

• The loaded asset data is removed from the Import Asset page.
