This activity is used to create consolidated (or collective) pick lists for the following reservations, without shipment connection.
A consolidated pick list is a way of grouping a pick list based on certain selection criteria. This gives you the possibility to choose how your pick lists are to be consolidated, e.g., per Source Ref Type, Receiver Type, Route, and Planned Ship Periods. You can either create a consolidated pick list directly or schedule the task as a background job.
In the Parameter sections, you can specify the selection criteria for the records that are to be included in the pick lists, i.e., the pick lists will be created for all the sources matching the specified criteria.
In the Pick List(s) per list, you can specify how you want to consolidate the pick list, e.g., whether you want to create a separate pick list per Source Ref 1, Receiver, Route, Forward Agent, etc.
The Source Parameters and Additional Parameter Options sections enables you to specify additional selection criteria for the records to be included in the pick list. For example, Forward Agent, Location Group, Receiver ID, etc. Entry can be made using special symbols like the ones used in the search dialogs. For example, ;, %, =. You can use the wildcard percentage symbol (%) for selecting every possible value for that field. E.g., entering % in the Source Ref 1 field will include all source lines in the consolidated pick list. Entering 2% will include all source lines with an Source Ref 1 beginning with the number 2.
The Receiver Type field enables you to specify the type(s) of the receiver(s), (e.g., Supplier, Site, Remote Warehouse, Customer), and if a single type is selected it will enable the Receiver ID field, where you can select the receivers that should create the pick list.
The Source Ref Type field enables you to specify the type(s) of the source(s), and if a single type is selected it will enable the Source Ref 1 field, where you can select the Source Refs that should create the pick list.
The Max Source Ref 1 per Pick List field enables you to specify how many Source Refs of those matching the specified criteria, should be included per pick-list. You can either enter a specific value or use the wildcard percentage symbol (%) to include any number of source refs on a pick list.
The Include Sources list controls how you want the Sources to be included in the pick list. The Within Selection Parameters option makes all reserved material of a Source fitting the selection parameters be included in the consolidated pick list. The Complete within Selection Parameters option makes sure that all reserved material of a Source fitting the selection parameters is included in the consolidated pick list provided that all source lines can be picked completely. If at least one source line cannot be picked completely, no pick list will be created at all for that source. The All Lines option enables you to include all lines that are ready to be picked of a particular source, if at least one line in that source matches the specified criteria. This will make sure that you have the option to keep a source together when creating a pick list.
The Only Handling Units to be Picked in One Step option controls if the pick list should only include top level handling units completely reserved by one demand line. For instance this will be beneficial when using bulk zones and handling units. With this option you can distinguish the handling units that you can pick in one step, from the handling units that you have to move and then pick as a second step i.e. handling units partly reserved or reserved by many demand lines.
The source lines must have been reserved in order to appear on the pick list.
