Cancel Latest Calibration
Explanation
This activity is used to cancel a calibration history record. Only the most recent record can be canceled. Use
the Cancel Latest History command on the Calibration History tab on the
Tool/Equipment page. The command is only available if there is a record that can be
canceled.
Prerequisites
At least one non-cancelled calibration history record must exist for the tool or equipment.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The calibration history record will be updated with the status Cancelled. The fields
Cancelled By and Cancelation Date will also be set.
- The values in the Calibration Information section on the
Tool/Equipment page will be recalculated based on the most recent valid (non-cancelled)
calibration record. If the Calibration Base, Interval Unit, or
Interval were changed after the new valid record (i.e. the one that becomes active following a
cancellation), those changes will be replaced with the values from that record.
