Use this activity to register a calibration performed on a tool/equipment. This is done using the Register Calibration dialog, available on the Tool/Equipment page. The dialog is only available if the Calibration Base is Calendar or Usage.
In the dialog, the Calibration Date is by default set to the current server date (i.e., the date according to the user's defined time zone). This can be edited to a past date, provided it is not earlier than the previous calibration registration, if one exists. This date should reflect the actual date when the calibration was performed.
It is also possible to add a note, or attach a document or media. These can later be viewed and modified on the Calibration History tab on the Tool/Equipment page.
The tool/equipment needs to be defined for calibration, i.e., Calibration Base is Calendar or Usage.
