System Effects
The options below can be enabled and configured depending on the customer demands on the process. When the
configuration is created and configured, the scanning client running the process will behave according to those
settings.
- The scanning client can be configured to show the media pane. The width of the data item description columns
in the scanning client can be configured by entering the amount of pixels in the Data Item Description
Column Width field. The font sizes can also be adjusted for the input description by entering the size
in the Font Size field, for input field using the Input Field Font Size and for
list using the List Font Size.
- The maximum number of rows to be received in the List of Values can be set using the List of Values Row
Limitation field.
- The lifespan both for Active or Parked sessions in Remove Active or Parked Sessions Older
Than and Completed sessions in Remove Completed Sessions Older Than fields can be set
for each configuration by entering the number of days that sessions should be kept in the database before being
deleted by the scheduled task Remove Data Capture Sessions.
- The session settings for Confirm Execution, Reset Session on Process Error,
Execute in Background, Process Completion Action, Subsequent Process
ID, Subsequent Configuration ID, Subsequent Control Data Item ID, and
Subsequent Control Feedback Item ID can be set.
- The data items can be configured in several ways, using the following columns: Input Order, GS1
Application Identifier, Default Value, Fixed Value, Use Fixed Value, Hide Line, Hide All
Previous, Loop Start, Loop End, Use Automatic Value, List of Values, Use Subsequent
Value, Subsequent Data Item ID, Camera Enabled, Display Loop Count, On-Screen Keyboard Enabled, LoV Search Case
Sensitive, LoV Search String Match, and LoV Search Target.
- For each data item, it is also possible to configure data item details that will be shown in the scanning
client directly after the data item value has been entered. The order in which the data item detail will be shown
can also be configured.
- Process specific details can be enabled.
- The process configuration can be made accessible for specified companies, sites, users and user groups. If a
company and site not connected to the configuration, the configuration will not appear in the scanning client
menu depending on the selected site. If a user is not connected to the configuration, the configuration will not
appear in the scanning client menu.
- The process configuration can start different subsequent processes depending on a control data item or a
control feedback item.
