Perform this activity to check out tools and equipment for work task resource demands.
The Check Out Tool/Equipment for Demands page can be used to check out tools and equipment required to execute work tasks. Before checking out, tool/equipment demands can be filtered out based on different dimensions. For example, by using the Assignee field and selecting a Person ID of a technician, allow you to identify the tool/equipment demands needed for him/her to perform the assigned tasks. Once the required tool/equipment demands are selected, click the Check Out option to open the Check Out assistant. In the assistant, select the person ID of the person accepting the tools and equipment from the tool crib. If a work assignment is already created for a tool/equipment demand, those demands will be immediately checked out and for the tool/equipment demand that doesn't have work assignments, it is possible to create work assignments from the assistant and check them out. The Allocated Hours, Allocated Start and Allocated Finish fields in the check out details section can be used to complete the tool/equipment demand lines that do not have work assignments.If the allocated tool/equipment is changed in the Check Out assistant for an already created assignment, a new assignment will be created for the newly selected tool/Equipment.
Note: If a security checkpoint is enabled, sign off is required when checking out tools and equipment from the Tools and Equipment or Tool/Equipment page.

From these pages individual or multiple tool/equipment can be checked out to the logged in user.
