Report Work Task with AI

Explanation

This feature simplifies and accelerates the work reporting process by leveraging the AI Assistant on the Execute Work Task page. When the user clicks the Assisted Work Reporting button, the AI analyzes the provided work or maintenance report and auto-fills key fields for reporting. Users can input descriptive text (e.g., fault symptoms, parts used, tools involved, time spent). Based on the input, the assistant intelligently suggests appropriate values for key reporting fields.

Upon clicking the button, the AI Assistant prompts the user to paste or enter a free-text report in the Report Work step. The system parses this input and auto-populates the following fields:

Additionally, the assistant checks the work report for mentions of parts and cross-references them with the material list defined on the Work Task. When relevant materials are identified, the system automatically issues the parts, updates the warehouse stock, and creates the necessary cost lines, reducing manual input and simplifying the material handling process. The system also automatically creates new work orders when required based on the work report. The user can review and edit these suggestions before saving them into the task record in the Verify and Confirm step.
