Navigate to Work Tasks from Work List
Explanation
This activity allows users to directly access the Work Task and Work
Tasks page from various Work List views after a Compatible Unit (CU) has been released. It
streamlines navigation by enabling quick access to the associated Work Tasks for execution and monitoring
purposes.
Several entry points are introduced:
- A Work Task at this Work Point command is enabled from the Go To button on
a CU level.
- A Work Task button is added on the Work List node for an Execution Item.
- The same button is available in the Work Lists tab within the Execution Item.
- Users can select one or multiple Work Lists and use this button to navigate to the corresponding Work
Task(s).
- A Work Task No hyperlink is displayed for each Work List entry, enabling single-click
navigation.
This feature reduces time spent navigating across objects and increases visibility into execution details tied
to specific work scopes.
Prerequisites
- The Execution Item containing the Work List must be released.
- The Work List must have a corresponding Work Task generated upon release.
System Effects
- Selecting a Work List and clicking Work Task opens the corresponding Work
Task page.
- Hyperlinks in the Work Task No field take the user to the specific Work Task record.
