Use this activity to define Warehouse Access for a Service Contractor. This allows administrators to configure which warehouses are connected to contractor resources, ensuring contractor stock is visible and included in supply chain planning.
On the Service Contractor page, a Warehouse Access tab is available where multiple warehouse connections can be defined. You can also set one warehouse as the default, although having a default is optional.
Available warehouses are determined by the Sites connected to the B2B Users of the contractor’s Supplier. For example, if a supplier has B2B users connected to multiple sites, the warehouses linked to those sites will be available for selection. This ensures that contractors can only be connected to warehouses that are aligned with their supplier’s site setup.
Once warehouse connections are defined, the records are stored in the Portal Users – User Warehouse Connection. From the Warehouse Access tab, you can also update or remove existing connections. This setup provides the foundation for additional processes, such as viewing contractor stock, enabling replenishment, and ordering materials for jobs through portals or APIs.
