Explanation

Use this activity to view, select, or update the warranty applied to a Service Object during repair execution, ensuring accurate pricing for time and material entries.

When a Service Object is received on the Repair Bench, technicians can confirm whether it is under warranty and, if necessary, change the applied warranty to correct any misapplication made during authorization or receipt. Once a valid warranty is set, the corresponding price rules are automatically applied to the technician’s time and material entries.

This activity helps ensure that repairs are invoiced based on the correct customer coverage.
