This activity is used to view and define the availability of the location for attending to a request task. The availability for a request task can be inherited from the service object on the request task. Suppose no availability has been defined for the service object. In that case, the availability defined on the location that is connected to the request task address will decide when the request work can be scheduled. Location availabilities will, however, never be visible on the request task itself. A request task availability can be set manually according to the requirement and will override both the availability defined on the location and on the equipment object.
Once a request task is created for a service object, the availability of the object will be fetched to the request task, based on the work type and the priority defined on the request task. If the availability for the request task is not defined or not inherited from the connected service object, then the availability of the location connected with the request task address will be used for the request task availability when scheduling the activities for the request task.
As a result of this activity, availability information is set for the request task.
