View History Notes
The View History Notes activity allows you to review a chronological record of user-initiated and
system-generated actions performed on tasks, faults, and work packages within the maintenance execution pages.
This activity provides supervisors, crew leads, and technicians with clear visibility into what changed, when the
change occurred, and who performed the action, supporting traceability, auditing, troubleshooting, and operational
transparency.
History Notes typically display information such as:
- Status transitions, including task or work package start and completion
- Labor assignment updates, including assignment, unassignment, and changes to scheduled hours
- Updates to task, fault, or work package fields and details
- Part requirement additions for part installations and removals
- Step additions, modifications, or removals
- Fault-related actions such as creation, evaluation, or header field changes
