This activity is used to connect a CPQ configurator to a source object. A source object could be a Business Opportunity Revision, Sales Quotation, or a Customer Order.
CPQ configurator can be used to create multiple source lines (eg: sales quotation lines), to set the quantity, and to do the CTO configuration based on a configuration done in CPQ. The connection is made by creating a new record in CPQ tab of Sales Quotation, CPQ tab of Customer Order, and in the CPQ section in Revision tab of Business Opportunity.
For sales quotations and customer orders, you can select the configurator from the drop down and save the record. For business opportunity, you must first select the site for which you would like the business opportunity lines created, and then select the configurator.
