Manage Selection Rules from Contractor Agreement Lines

Explanation

Use this activity to create, view, or update Selection Rules directly from a Contractor Agreement Line. 

This allows you to associate specific contractor selection criteria with an agreement line, ensuring accurate contractor assignments. You can also link an existing Selection Rule or create a new one directly from a Contractor Agreement Line.  

Editing the associated Selection Rule enables you to modify the selection criteria, including static or dynamic rule types, contractor ranking, and acceptance configurations. These rules control how contractor orders are assigned when the agreement line is used in Request execution.

Prerequisites

A Contractor Agreement and corresponding Agreement Line must be created. 

System Effects

• The Contractor Agreement Line is updated with a reference to the linked Selection Rule. 
•  A new Selection Rule is created if initiated through the agreement line. 
• Modifications to the Selection Rule are saved and reflected in contractor assignment processes based on the updated criteria.
