Use this activity to add or modify Units related to Return Material Lines. A line can contain one or more units, as long as they are of the same part or model, by indicating a quantity greater than one. If any of the Units have a serial number, each serial ID will be recorded for that line. A specific serialized unit can only be associated with one open RMA at a time.
The Payers tab, available within both the Repair RMA Line and Unit, displays the payers associated with the repair. It automatically includes the customer, and adds any suppliers linked to active supplier warranties fetched from the Service Object.
An open Repair RMA along with Repair RMA Lines should exist in Service Management>Depot Repair>Repair RMA.
As a result of this activity, Units are added to the RMA Lines or modified.
