Use this activity to update a Change Request (CR) from Preliminary status to Active status. This transition indicates that the CR has completed its initial preparation, all required information and documentation have been provided, and the necessary approvals have been obtained. Once set to Active, the CR is ready for further processing, including the potential issuance of a Change Order (CO).
This activity has the following prerequisites:
The CR exists in Preliminary status.
All required data and documentation are present in the CR.
If an approval routing has been established, all required approvals must have been completed.
As a result of this activity:
The status of the CR is updated to Active.
The CR can be processed as a Change Order (CO).
The status change is irreversible.
