You can calculate the aggregated regulation compliance information for all components in a product structure. The result is a count of the included parts' regulation compliance parameters, based on the Compliance and Compliance Type fields. The count will be distinct, meaning each part is included only once, regardless of the number of occurences in the structure. Calculations are performed both for a single level structure and a multi-level structure, all the way down to the lowest level.
Note that compliance information for the top part itself is not updated based on the aggregation.
The aggregation uses the eco-footprint emission structure, which must be updated for the aggregation to be accurate. This happens when the Calculate Eco-footprint job is run.
Parts to include can be controlled using the following parameters:
The revision to use is controlled by the Effective Date.
The calculation can also be performed for a single part revision on the Part Eco-Footprint page.
Aggregated component compliance information is updated for the part selection.
