Go Through Employee Assistant Steps

Explanation

Use this activity to configure the steps offered by the assistant. Due to the high customizability of the assistant, you can see the steps in different order, with missing fields, with fields already filled in, or with whole steps missing.
Note: Since sections within a step can be made mandatory, some optional requirements might be mandatory if the assistant configuration set them as such.

The Job Assignments section at the New Employment Assistant

This activity introduces a section called Job Assignments. Using this section you can select and assign jobs from a drop down as per the requirement in the Job Assignments section.

To assign a job you will have to:

Primary and Secondary Job Assignments:

The Primary status indicates if a job assigned to a person, is their primary job.

Linking a Company to a Global Job Record:

By default, a company is linked to the global job record based on the company selection done during the Employee step in the assistant. Based on the company selected, the job assignment will be by default linked or associated with the selected company.

The functionality of the Job Assignments section will change depending on the Employment option selected during the first step of the assistant. This selection determines how job assignments are retrieved and how job-related information is displayed in the application.

Job Assignments Configuration:

You can choose whether to enable or disable the Job Assignments section. This can be managed through the Job Assignments Configuration, which is found under the Employment section at the New Employment Configuration.

In order to perform this activity:

As a result of this activity, a New Employment Configuration will be created.

Jobs will be assigned to Person using the Job Assignments section provided at the New Employment assistant.
