This activity manages the participants involved in performing an FMECA Analysis. Participants are maintained per revision, ensuring controlled access and traceability for each revision of the analysis.
Participants can be added from the Prepare FMECA page. Persons can be selected from the available list, and participant details such as Role and Note can be provided as needed. Participants who are not registered system users can also be added, allowing any relevant individual to be included in the analysis.
When a participant is added, the current revision is automatically assigned and displayed in the Revision column. This value is system-generated and cannot be edited. Participants associated with previous revisions are displayed for reference and are read-only. Participants linked to the current revision are also protected from deletion to preserve revision integrity.
If the Admin toggle is switched on in the Prepare FMECA page, only the participants with Admin access can make changes to that FMECA Analysis. If a participant without Admin access tries to make any changes, an error message will appear “User should be an Administrator to modify FMECA Analysis”.
Participants can be added or edited only when the FMECA Analysis is in the Preliminary or In Progress statuses. Once the analysis reaches In Review, Active, Approved, or Obsolete statuses, participant details cannot be added, edited, or deleted.
Note: Adding participants is not mandatory, but it is recommended to ensure secure access and accountability throughout the FMECA Analysis.
