Cancel Steps
Explanation
You can cancel a step added to a fault through repair references and also those added as ad‑hoc steps.
Steps published from CAMO cannot be cancelled from Maintenance Execution.
Prerequisites
- Cancel causes must be added to the Cancel Cause page, and the Task Step
toggle must be switched on for those causes.
- A cancel cause must be introduced as Not Applicable on the Cancel Cause page
(Cancel Cause = NA, description = Not Applicable, Task Step
toggle enabled).
- The user must have access through the Cancel Cause Access page to select a cancel cause when
cancelling a step.
- Select Used in Maintenance Execution Module (MEX) on the Work Package Details
page > Details tab in CAMO.
System Effects
- When a step is cancelled, the cancellation reason and comments are recorded in the event log.
