Add Steps

Explanation

You can add a step to a task or a fault, which can then be executed, certified, and inspected by a technician from the task card.

Also, there can be steps that are published from CAMO or added via a repair reference, which is selected on a fault or non-routine. You can identify steps that are added via a repair reference by the step source, which shows the originating repair reference name and code.

Note: You cannot edit or delete steps that are added via a repair reference or published from CAMO.

By specifying the order number, you determine the order in which the step appears on the task card.

A step must include at least one sign-off requirement for both an executor and a certifier.

Only the technician who added the step, a supervisor, or a crew lead can remove it.

Info: You must select a cancellation cause and, optionally, enter a cancellation description and comment when cancelling a step. Administrators can define cancellation causes in the Aviation Maintenance/Solution Configuration/Maintenance Execution/Basic Data/Cancel Causes page.
