Use this activity to define how the system validates indemnities during business operations in Sub Contract and Sales Contract workflows. Validations are carried out when the configuration is defined on a Sub Contract or Sales Contract.
Each configuration includes two types of checks:
On the Indemnity Validation Configuration page, you can define how the system performs these checks for each business operation (for example, contract award, call-off, valuation, or invoice payment). For each Business Operation, specify how the system should respond when no indemnity is connected or when a connected indemnity has expired.
For each operation, specify how the system should respond when no indemnity is connected or when a connected indemnity has expired. You can configure the response as a Warning, an Error that blocks the transaction, or No Validation if no system message is required.
The configuration can be applied to Sub Contract and Sales Contract records.
