Add Kit Components to Kit via Kit Assembly Order

Explanation

Use this Activity to modify Kit Components in the Kit Assembly Order. When creating a Kit Assembly Order for an existing Kit Serial Part, Kit Components will be populated in the Content Details tab of the Kit Assembly Order. Kit Components can be modified using the Add Component Quantity or Remove Component Quantity command from the Required Content tab of the Kit Assembly Order.

Prerequisites

• Kit Definition should exist for the Kit Part.
• Kit Components should be available in Inventory (when adding).

System Effects

When adding Kit Components to the Kit Assembly Order, Kit Component quantity will be deducted from the Kit Component available quantity in inventory. When removing Kit Component quantity, the Kit Component quantity will be added to the available Kit Component quantity in inventory. Value of the added Kit Components will be added to the Work In Progress of the Kit Assembly Order when adding Kit Component and will be deducted when removing Kit Components.
