Add Kit Components to Kit

Explanation

Use this Activity to add Kit Components to Kit via a Kit Assembly Order. Kit components can be added from the inventory after creating the Kit Assembly Order. When modifying the content of Kit Serial Part, existing Kit Components will be populated in the Kit Assembly Order Content Details tab. Kit Components can be added from the Required Content tab of the Kit Assembly Order.

Prerequisites

• Kit Definition should exist for the Kit Part.
• Kit Components should be available in Inventory.

System Effects

When adding Kit Components to a Kit using the Kit Assembly Order, the quantity of the Kit Components will be deducted from the available inventory. Value of the added Kit Components will be posted to the Work in Progress account of the Kit Assembly Order.
