Delete Shop Order Component

Explanation

Use this activity to delete a component part in the structure of the parent part, e.g., a part that is not needed for this shop order.

To delete a shop order component, delete the relevant row on the Shop Order/Materials tab, or on the Shop Order Materials page.

Note that a maximum of 250 material lines can be deleted at the same time.

Prerequisites

• This activity requires the existence of a shop order material line either with the status of Planned, Released or Reserved or in the status of Parked with status before parked set to Planned, Released or Reserved.
• If a material line is manually pegged against a purchase order line or a shop order, the pegging has to be removed first.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system deletes a component. This deletion affects only this shop order, not the entire part structure.
