This activity is used to delete a WIP product from a shop order. A WIP product allows you to trace where work-in-progress material, produced in a shop order operation, resides in inventory.
To delete a shop order WIP product, delete the relevant line on the WIP Products tab on the Shop Order page.
A WIP product line must exist for the shop order and there should be no quantity received for the WIP product.
As a result of this activity, the system deletes a WIP product on the specific shop order.
