Issue Shop Order WIP Product
Explanation
This activity is used to issue a shop order WIP product from the inventory location. The
remaining quantity to be issued will be displayed in the assistant along with the inventory location. By enabling
the
Inbound Locations Only toggle, the inventory view is filtered to show only WIP products stored
in locations designated as inbound to the work center .
To issue a WIP product, select the relevant WIP product line and click
Issue. Enter the quantity
to be issued manually, or select
Issue All to issue the entire remaining quantity.
Prerequisites
A shop order WIP product line with a received quantity available for issue must exist.
System Effects
The entered quantity is updated as the issued quantity for the WIP product line. An inventory transaction
(SOWIPISS) is created.
