Use this activity to print labels for WIP products on a shop order. These labels help identify the WIP product while it resides in stock.
To print the labels, select the relevant WIP product lines and click Labels. In the assistant, enter the Pack Size, which indicates the quantity contained in each package for which a label will be generated. This value determines how the total quantity is divided into labeled units. The default value is retrieved from the Std Lot Size field on the Inventory Part Planning Data page.
Example: If the operation quantity of the From Operation is 20 and the Pack Size is 5, the system generates 4 labels, each showing a Pack Size of 5.
The system prints labels for the selected WIP products according to the specified pack size.
