Unissue Shop Order WIP Product
Explanation
This activity is used to return a previously issued shop order WIP product to the inventory
location from which it was originally issued. The entire quantity available to be unissued will be returned to
inventory. This quantity is calculated as the issued quantity minus the quantity already consumed by the completed
and scrapped quantities reported on the
To Operation defined for the WIP product. Or, if no
To Operation is defined, the quantity received on the shop order.
To unissue a WIP product, select the relevant WIP product line and click
Unissue.
Prerequisites
A shop order WIP product line with a quantity available to unissue must exist. In other words, a previously
issued quantity must remain that has not yet been consumed by the completed or scrapped quantity reported on the
To Operation to which the WIP product is connected. Or, if no To Operation is
defined, the quantity must not have been consumed by the quantity received on the shop order.
System Effects
The entire quantity available to unissue for the WIP product will be received back into the inventory location
from which it was originally issued and reserved for the WIP product line. An inventory transaction (SOWIPUNISS) is
created.
