Use this activity to add Master Schedule planned parts to a selected Material Planning Scenario in bulk. This allows you to connect multiple parts to the scenario without adding each part individually. The Add Parts dialog inserts the scenario only for parts that do not already include it. Parts that already have the scenario are skipped. active or inactive.
It is important to note that all parts registered as Master Scheduled Level 1 parts are included in the scope, regardless of whether they are active or inactive.
You can specify one site and one Project Planned Netting Group (PNG) at a time. The Site field defaults to your user default site, and Project PNG defaults to “*.”
A Material Planning Scenario must exist.
A user-allowed site must exist.
MS-planned parts must exist for the selected site and Project PNG.
The selected Material Planning Scenario is added to all eligible MS-planned parts that do not already include it.
Parts that already have the scenario are skipped; no errors are shown.
