Analyze Aggregated Results by Period
Explanation
Use this activity to analyze aggregated results for a selected Material Planning Scenario. The activity displays
summarized values for aggregated material, machine operation load, and labor operation load over predefined
planning periods.
The aggregated pages allow you to analyze supply, demand, machine loads, and labor loads. Results are grouped
into time buckets defined by the selected Period Template defined on the Period
Template Maintenance page for the site. You can review scenario 1 (the live scenario) as well as
simulation scenarios.
- Aggregated results for the selected scenario are
displayed on the relevant page:
- Aggregated Planning Scenarios –
Material
Aggregated material results display summarized demand, supply, requisition quantities, open supply, and
projected balances.
- Aggregated Planning Scenarios –
Machine Load
Aggregated machine load results display machine load, capacity, and load percentages for work center
resources, including a comparison against the load in scenario 1 for the respective period.
- Aggregated Planning Scenarios –
Labor Load
Aggregated labor load results display labor load, capacity, and load percentages for each labor class,
including a comparison against the load in scenario 1 for the respective period.
The Aggregated Planning Scenarios – Machine Load and Aggregated
Planning Scenarios – Labor Load pages include the Total Load in Scenario 1 and
Total Load – Total Scenario 1 Load columns, which allow you to compare the aggregated loads
of different scenarios against scenario 1. You can easily identify positive or negative deviations. These columns
will be blank when aggregating scenario 1.
Prerequisites
- A Material Planning Scenario must exist.
- A user-allowed site must exist.
- A period template must exist and have its periods
calculated.
- Depending on the page you want to view:
- Aggregated material results must exist for the
scenario using Aggregated Planning Scenarios – Material assistant.
- Aggregated machine load or labor load results must
exist for the scenario using Aggregate Planning Scenario - Machine and Labor Loads
assistant.
