Create Simulation Profile Header
Explanation
Use this activity to create a simulation profile for a selected site and Material Planning Scenario. A
simulation profile allows you to manage supply and demand data for MRP‑planned parts and Master Schedule‑planned
parts, enabling controlled and repeatable simulation runs.
There are two pages for managing simulation profiles based on the planning engine:
- Simulation Profile – MRP
Parts page for MRP‑planned parts.
- Simulation Profile – Master Schedule
Parts page for Master Schedule‑planned parts.
These pages allow you to review and adjust the imported supply and demand data before running simulations.
Prerequisites
- A Material Planning Scenario other than scenario 1 must
exist.
- A user-allowed site must exist.
System Effects
- A simulation profile header is created on the
Simulation Profile – MRP Parts page and/or the Simulation Profile
– Master Schedule Parts page for the selected site and scenario.
