Use this activity to import supply, demand and planning data from the last live MRP and Master Scheduling run (Material Planning Scenario 1) into the simulation profile using Import Results from Material Planning Scenario One assistant. This provides a baseline for material planning simulation using the Simulation Profile option as the Simulation Source.
You can control which simulation profiles are updated for the selected site or all sites within the selected planning network for the chosen Material Planning Scenario using the Import to MRP Profile and Import to Master Schedule Profile toggles.
You also have the option to clear any additional simulated demands added on the Additional Demands tab in the simulation profile during this process. This option is set to No by default.
If the simulation profile header does not already exist, this job automatically creates the simulation profile header and populates data.
This job is posted as a background job and can be scheduled for later execution.
