Copy Structure Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to copy some or all the alternates of the source structure revision to a new structure revision.

When copying between remanufacturing structures, enable Copy Direct Supply to include the information available on the Direct Supply tab in the copy process.

Note: This activity allows you to copy a structure to a different site, and creates any components and/or component revisions needed to accomplish the copy. For planning structures, copying structure revision to another site or a part is not allowed.

Prerequisites

• This activity requires an inventory part with Part Type set to Manufactured, Manufactured Recipe, Remanufactured, Purchased or Disassembly Component, By-Product, Co-Product or Core.

System Effects

• The system copies some or all the alternates of the source structure revision to a new structure (inventory part) revision.
• No serial pointers are copied, these must be manually defined.
• For the new alternates that contain components, the status will be set to the default status, as defined on page Site/Manufacturing.
• If you enable the Copy Attached Documents option you will also copy documents attached to structure revision, structure alternate and line item to the new revision.
• If Copy Direct Supply is enabled, the information available on the Direct Supply tab on the source structure is copied to the destination structure.
• Eco-Footprint CTG Emissions and RoHS information are copied for the * alternate only.
