Define Teams App Settings

Explanation

Use this activity to define how the IFS CRM Microsoft Teams App should work. The options on the CRM Teams App Settings page control authentication, allowed CRM account types, AI‑based features, and logging. Only administrators with appropriate permissions should modify these settings.

Enter the Tenant ID, Application ID, and Client Secret for the registered Teams app. These values identify the Microsoft 365 tenant where the app is registered and are required for authentication and integration with Microsoft Teams.

Use the Generate Manifest command to generate the manifest ZIP file required for app installation. For the app to be available in Microsoft Teams, the manifest ZIP must be uploaded through the Microsoft Teams admin center.

The Account Types Allowed for Creation settings control which CRM account types you can create directly from the Teams app. Only enabled account types are available when you create new accounts while registering contacts from Teams.

The Machine Learning settings control AI-assisted functionality in the Teams app:

When Debug Trace is enabled, additional diagnostic information is logged to support troubleshooting and analysis.

Prerequisites
