finalized. Completing the work assignment indicates that execution is finished and no further actions are needed.
This step ensures accurate progress tracking and triggers any related closing processes.
This activity is typically performed when:
- All planned work has been executed.
- Time, material, and cost reporting have been
entered.
- The task has passed any required review or approval
steps.
Prerequisites
- The request task must be in a status that allows
completion (for example, Pending Completion).
- All mandatory reporting requirements, such as time,
material usage, and costs, must be recorded.
- The resource must have access rights to complete work
assignment in the relevant process.
System Effects
- The work assignment status is updated to
Completed.
- Further execution actions, such as clocking in or
reporting time, are disabled.
- The task becomes available for time and other
reporting.
- If all work assignments status are completed, the
Request Task will set to ‘Work Done’
