Issue Material for Request Task
Explanation
This activity is used to issue the required quantity of a part from the inventory. It is possible to issue
already reserved material and/or issue material directly from the location without having prior reservations.
Prerequisites
- The quantity of the part, to be issued from inventory,
must exist in an inventory location for the site.
System Effects
- The material is issued.
- The values for
the Issued Quantity and Issued Date fields are updated in the respective columns in
Request Task Materials tab.
- The quantity on hand for the part is updated, i.e., the
amount of the part is reduced.
- An inventory transaction for each location is created
in Inventory.
