Use this activity to change the status of the work assignment to Pending Completion. This activity is used to indicate that a Request Task is ready for completion but requires review or final checks before being marked as complete. Setting a task to Pending Completion helps ensure that all work, reporting, and validations are finalized before closing the task.

This activity is typically performed when:

• All planned work has been executed.
• Time, material, and cost reporting have been entered.
• The task needs approval or verification before completion.

Marking a task as Pending Completion is an intermediate step that prevents further execution while allowing final validations and approvals.

Prerequisites

• The work assignment should exist
• The work assignment should be in Work Started status

System Effects

• The work assignment status is updated to Pending Completion.
• Further execution actions, such as clocking in or starting work, are disabled.
• The Work Finish Date on the work assignment is updated with the current date.
