Set Work Assignment to Incomplete for Request Task
Explanation
This activity is used to change the status of a work assignment from Completed back to
Incomplete.
This activity is typically performed when:
- The work assignment was completed but requires rework
or additional actions.
- Errors were found in reported time, material usage, or
costs.
- The task needs to be reopened for further
execution.
Setting the work assignment to Incomplete re-enables execution actions and allows updates to
time, material, and cost reporting.
Prerequisites
- A work assignment should exist.
- If there is any work performed through the work
assignment, the usages should be reported in.
- Incomplete codes must be defined in Incomplete Cause
page.
System Effects
- The work assignment status is updated to
Incomplete.
- The Assignment Finish date on the work assignment is
updated with current date.
- If the work assignment is in Work Started status the
Work Finish date is updated with current date.
