Reject Selected Service
Explanation
This activity is used to record customer rejection of a specific Service (scope) within a request quotation. It
supports scenarios where the customer decides not to proceed with certain quoted services while other services may
still remain under consideration or be accepted separately.
The activity is performed at the Service/Scope level by changing the status of the selected scope to reflect
rejection. A Rejection Reason must be provided when performing this activity.
Prerequisites
- The request quotation must be in Sent to Customer status.
- The selected scope must not already be Accepted, Rejected, or
Cancelled.
- Rejection reason must be defined in Service Cancel and Reject Reasons page.
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- The selected Service (scope) status is updated to Rejected, and the Rejection Reason is
stored for audit and traceability purposes.
- If one or more scopes remain active, the quotation status is updated to Partially Accepted
or remains in its current state depending on the combination of accepted and pending scopes.
- If all Services are Rejected, the Quotation status is updated to Rejected, and no Request
will be created from the quotation
