View Resource Shifts

Explanation

Perform this activity to view Resource regular/On Call Shifts created for different resources in one place. It is possible to edit or delete existing shifts or breaks and add additional shifts or breaks as required.

Additionally, you can update resource information in bulk, for example, Shift Start, by selecting the ellipsis menu in the column headers while in edit mode.

Note: The Resource On Call Shifts and Resource Shifts pages displays available shifts for the next five weeks by default. To view all created shifts instead, disable the Five-Week Shift Plan toggle. To view shifts for a specific date/date range outside the upcoming five weeks, disable the Five-Week Shift Plan toggle and select the desired dates using the Shift Start/Shift End date pickers.

For On Call shifts: Using the Convert to Regular Shift button, you can convert one or bulk on call shifts into a regular working shifts. 

The newly created regular shift automatically inherits all key parameters from the oncall shift, including Resource Sequence, Account Date, Start and End Times, and all defined Attributes. After the conversion process, the selected on call shifts are removed from the Resource On Call Shift page and displayed on the Resource Shift page.

Prerequisites

Resource Shifts must be generated. Only the resources with assigned shifts will appear on the Resource Shifts page.

Resource On Call Shifts must be generated. Only the resources with assigned on call shifts will appear on the Resource On Call Shifts page.   

System Effects

Shift deviations are created for the edited shift ensuring that the deviation persists even if the resource schedule is re-generated.
