This activity is used to link an existing Request or Request Quotation to a Service Project. Connecting service work to a Service Project allows related scopes to be grouped under a single coordination header, providing consolidated visibility for planning, capacity management, and financial and operational follow-up.
The activity is initiated using the Connect Service Project command available on both the Request and Request Quotation pages. Connect Service Project assistant is opened, allowing the user either to select an existing Service Project or to create a new Service Project and connect it in the same step. Once connected, the Request or Request Quotation and its associated scopes become part of the Service Project’s overall scope of work.
As a result of this activity, the selected Request or Request Quotation is linked to a Service Project. The associated Services become visible in the Scope of Work tab of the Service.
If a new Service Project is created during the process, it is created in New status and linked in the same action.
