Use this activity to create a preview of an Invoice for a Service Project. The invoice preview will contain all invoiceable sales lines related to the connected Request scopes under the Service Project. The Invoice Preview command is available on the Service Project when at least one connected Request scope is in Released status or higher.
The functionality of the assistant is the same as the existing Invoice Preview assistant used in Request – Cost and Sales. However, the invoice scope is set to Service Project, and the reference will be the Service Project ID.
If required, multiple invoice previews will be created automatically based on existing splitting logic (e.g., by Sales Site, Customer, Delivery Address, Currency Code, Customer Order No). A Boolean field Invoice Preview/s indicates whether invoice previews exist for the Service Project.
Note: It is also possible to generate invoice previews for multiple Service Projects using the Generate Invoice Previews for Service page, where a multi select Service Project LOV is available.
