This activity is used to create a Service Project to coordinate and manage grouped service work that is project-like in nature. The Service Project is assigned the New status and can then be used to link request quotations and requests, define planning dates, and perform capacity and financial follow-up for the grouped service work.
The Service Organization must be specified in the Organizational Basic Data if it is included during the creation of a Service Project.
As a result of this activity, a Service Project is created which is in New status.
