Disconnect Request/Quotation from Service Project
Explanation
This activity is used to remove a Request or Request Quotation from a Service Project. Although the action is
initiated at scope level within the Service Project, the disconnection applies to the entire owning Request or
Request Quotation. This ensures that all scopes belonging to the same Request or Request Quotation remain
consistently grouped and avoids partial linkage.
The activity is performed from the Scope of Work tab on the Service Project, where the user
selects a connected scope and chooses the option to disconnect it from the project.
Prerequisites
- The selected scope must belongs to a Service Project.
- Service/Scope must be in Started or lower status.
- Invoice Preview should not available for the Service Project.
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- The owning Request or Request Quotation is fully disconnected from the Service Project.
- All scopes related to that Request or Request Quotation are removed from the Scope of Work tab of the Service
Project.
- Status handling is automatically adjusted to reflect the remaining connected scope of work.
- Pricing, cost, and margin roll-ups at the Service Project level are recalculated to reflect the removal of
the disconnected Request or Request Quotation.
