Transfer to Tax Authority
Explanation
After acknowledgement, transfer the Tax Proposal to relevant Tax Authority through the Transfer to Tax
Authority command, in order to obtain the response after a correct submission.
For UK Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) related information, please refer the attached UK Specific
documentation connected to the activity diagram.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- User credentials must be defined in Tax Office/ Tax Report tab in order to perform
integration with tax authority.
- The tax proposal should be created with a tax report which is connected to a tax template, that supports an
integration with the relevant tax authority (For UK CIS Reporting, this should be Tax Template S107 - UK CIS Tax
Template).
- The status of the tax proposal should be Acknowledged.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The tax proposal is transferred to relevant tax authority, and Transfer Status would be
changed to Transferred, Rejected, Error or Pending Response.
Note :Until the integration with UK HMRC is completed, Transfer Status
will stay in Pending Response. If the Transfer Status stays on Pending
Response after transferring, as a result of not receiving the response from HMRC
within a reasonable time, user could set the Transfer Status value to Error via
command Clear Pending Response. Subsequently, user is able to transfer the proposal to HMRC
again (With any change or without).
- If the Transfer Status changes to Error as a result of
an error occured in integration from IFS perspective (due to incorrect setup such as incorrect routing rule
configuration), Error column will be updated with error description.
- Upon transfer, the internal ID of the load file that was automaticallly generated at the time the file was
created will be fetched to Outgoing Load File ID column..
- The internal ID of the load file that contains the details of the final response from tax authority will be
fetched to Incoming Load File ID column.
