Service Project Planning And Scheduling

The Service Project Capacity Planning & Scheduling page provides planners and dispatchers with a Gantt‑based planning workspace to visualize, schedule, and allocate service project work across time and resources. The page supports:

Hierarchical visualization of Service Projects.
Capacity planning and Resource Demand visualization.
Task dependency Visualization.
Work Assignment Creation and scheduling.
Schedule Project.
Create/Edit Scope.
Create/Edit Work Task.
Integration with Dispatch Console (DC), Schedule Assistance (SA), and EPSO dispatchers to view task sequencing and dependencies across all tasks available in the Dispatch Console dataset.

Supporting Functionalities

Context card supported on each levels Project, Request, Request Quotation, Scope, Task, Resource Demand to visualize most important information at a glance. In addition, users can navigate to corresponding master data pages and perform context‑specific actions

Tooltips provide contextual details per element

Legend explains colors, icons, and statuses

Task-to-Task Dependency visualization using linking lines between tasks. (Starte To Start and Finish To Start)

Gantt bars are rendered according to planned start and Planned finish dates.

For the Resource Demand, those are determined by Task Planned Start and Finish based on Task Planned Start + Demand Duration

Demand labels display Planned Quantity vs Assigned Count (e.g. 1/2) for the planner to get and idea about the allocation fulfillment.

Contractor Required, Subcontracted and Capacity Confirmed Indicators appear or hierachy levels.

Interactive Gantt Operations i.e. Drag, Resize (Tasks) supported for manual planning to override the schedule.

View Capacity is available at Project, Request, Scope and Task levels to retrieve required capacity to check Resource Availability.

Scheduling Capabilities

Scheduling commands i.e. Scheduled Work, Schedule Assistance, Assign are available on the Task and the Resource Demand Level.

This will be enabled only when the parent Request is in Released status.

Schedule Assistance : Naviagte to Schedule Assistance filtering out the selected Task.

Dispatch Console : Naviagte to Dispatch Console filtering out the selected Task.

Assign : Opens up the Assign Dialog on the same page for quick allocation.

Scheduled Work : Navigate to Schedule WOrk Page to view WorkBench Allocation Suggesions.
